MBM ScienceBridge GmbH evaluates, protects and commercialises inventions from universities and research institutions. It was founded in 2004 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen Public Law Foundation. We see it as our task to motivate scientists to consider their own research results from the point of view of a commercially relevant invention and to report these to their employer as a employee invention. In the case of promising inventions, we coordinate the filing of a patent application with external, specialised patent attorneys. In the next step, we present the invention to companies worldwide in order to identify interested partners who can further develop the invention into a product and commercialise it. |

MBM ScienceBridge GmbH supports scientists, evaluates inventions, oversees applications for intellectual property rights and out-licenses patents of universities and research institutions in Göttingen and Lower Saxony.
Our company evaluates, protects and commercializes inventions of higher education institutions and research facilities. It was founded as a private company and wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Göttingen, Public Law Foundation, in 2004.
